I have two of Carol's patterns, the rabbit and the bear family. If you read the instructions, you are not supposed to but poly-fil in the ears. They are to remain floppy. I have made my rabbit that way and it is much cuter.

This is a lovely idea. It takes quite a bit of fabric so it would take a few pieces of a child's clothing. Lovely to have as a memory.

Love your videos and your Featherweight! I finally got my first one (Centennial model) and love it! I'm making my 2nd memory bear from Carol's Zoo pattern & using stretchy fabric. My mom taught me to embroider the eyes and nose if it is for a child, because they might chew off and choke on button eyes or plastic eyes / nose.
