For fixed monthly income one cannot depend on dividend from mutual fund as dividend is neither surely received every month nor the rate of dividend is fixed.

Dividend option from MF is really bad investment strategy, instead invest in dividend stocks with proven track record and use MF purely for growth and compounding your money.

Dividend option plan is not the right choice as the dividend is not regular and is not tax efficient.
SWP can be a better option provided SWR is kept in limits .
