Self-healing composites extend a product’s lifespan

EPFL spin-off CompPair has developed a family of composites that can repair themselves in just a few minutes when heat (100°C to 150°C) is applied locally. The firm has just completed its first fundraising round and will use the proceeds to grow its headcount and secure its market entry.
