Her performance in Requiem For a Dream is the best performance I've ever seen...haunting.

She is amazing in Pieces of a Woman. She was robbed in Requiem for a Dream, IMO. 88 years old - what an inspiration.

Ellen Burstyn's body of work is beyond admirable. During her wonderful career, there has not been a bit of scandal or gossip. A true class act, a legend...and she looks phenomenal.

I was deeply moved by reading her autobiography and have always respected her as an artist and as the person she has grown into. :) God bless her.

brilliant actress. an American treasure. and forgotten often when people are talking about the great living ones. she's in that pantheon. Streep has nothing on Burstyn. just look at RESURRECTION.

A classy woman who is down to earth. She saw her job as a creative outlet that she enjoyed and she is so vibrant due to the fact that she continues to grow; helping you people makes her relevant in life.

Love Ms Burstyn so much!! 🙏😘 She’s had such a different career trajectory than her peers-like Elizabeth Taylor, who was born the same year-every time you thinks she’s peaked, she comes and gives another Oscar worthy performance!👍

One time, while working on a tv show, I took Ellen shopping at Whole Foods. Pushed the cart around the store while she picked things out. It was a delightful afternoon

Ellen Burstyn is sensational. Her autobiography is an engrossing read. The book details her personal search for her own identity and her spiritual journey through life. Ellen has dedicated her life and art to learning. Ellen continues to reach and grow in her craft and in her personal life. She is an inspiration! Ellen has dedicated her life to being the best person she can be personally and professionally. I think her book is one of the best autobiographies a famous person has written. Why? Because it is not vapid and shallow. It is not full of Hollywood hot air. She is honest about childhood hurts and traumas, and adult insecurities that she had to overcome and the courage she had to face them and heal them. Ellen if you ever read this...I just love you!!!! Your acting is tremendous. Your writing is wonderful. Your commitment to personal growth inspires me. You make our world a better place.

I remember watching Alice doesn't live here anymore at a friends house, when there was a "free" HBO week on tv. I was so taken with Ellen. She is a wonderful actress. CLASSY

Her performance in Requiem For A Dream is the best I’ve EVER seen in any film! Even better than Jimmy Stewart in Mr Smith Goes To Washington, and better than Bon Win in The Man From Nowhere, the second and third best, in my humble opinion. And she’s still stunningly beautiful!

Nancy Giles needs to interview more people on Sunday Morning. She's actually interested in the person she's interviewing, she's animated and real!

Thank you CBS This Morning for showcasing Ellen. She has deserved being covered more than she is.

Guess you always learn something new. I didn’t know about her. The irony of the roles she’s always played is really a trip. Great interview. I hope she wins this time. 🤞 I love her sense of humor too.

She was fantastic in Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood as the older Vivienne to Ashley Judd's younger.
Ellen and Sandra Bullock were great as mother-daughter. I always like when they start hitting their phones on the table or counter while they yell at each other!
