Azure Key Vault Certificate Management

In this video, Dan Sasse covers certificate management in Microsoft Azure. As an Azure administrator, you have access to Azure Key Vault, which gives you many options for configuring and managing certificates. In this video, Dan explains how to navigate the Azure Key Vault and make whatever configurations you need to.

Certificates are fundamentally a resource that can be presented to prove an identity. Using certificates to authenticate and identify users relies on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). The validity of a certificate is derived from the Certificate Authority who issues them, like Komodo or a privately managed process.

You can manage your certificates from the Microsoft Azure backend, where you can configure your key vaults. In the Azure portal, you can generate/import new certificates, restore backups, manage deleted certificates, and specify Certificate Authorities for your certificates.
