Ex-Navy here. AE2 stationed at China Lake with VX-5 from 72-76. Worked on A-4s, A-6s, A-7s, Cobras. Loved working on the Skyhawks more than any other jet!

Always good to see a Skyhawk flying! The engine start procedure is a nostalgic pleasure too. I've seen this TA-4F at Oshkosh many years ago. Nice to know it is still airworthy.

Just now seeing this. I’m guessing this was my last flight in the Collings A-4. It was a great time spanning almost 20 years. My hats off to the Collings family for making this all happen.
