I love my note 2. This is a cool trick. You can use it to change all kinds of sounds (or to mute the camera shutter).

I tried just that on a Note 4 (Android 6), but now every single sound option (1, 2 and 3) are playing the basic default Samsung whistle x_x No clue whatsoever what's going on.

i tried it. i get a message saying this is a read only file. i've tried to delete it, rename it overwrite it. i have superuser, titanium backup so i know i'm rooted. help?

I just did this mod, used a sword sound when removing the stylus. Bad Ass!

the play store. It costs money but you can always just get the apk online and get it for free.

I did it..and I also tried this..I downloaded the droid sound effect..renamed it Pen_det_noti3.ogg..and it worked...so u can use any sound..

You just need root and a root enabled file explorer. That's all.
