Triple Cylinder Banshee Glamis Olds Hill March 2012

Here are some of my initial runs at Olds on March 23rd and 24th 2012. I had the bike jetted really fat for break in and my gearing was way too high since I never got a chance to shift into 5th gear. I am pretty new to the bike so I have a little bit of learning to ride this beast correctly.
We hit 83mph with no tuning and poor gearing and a pretty rough hill. I am hoping for high 80's and maybe even 90 for a goal.

Thanks Ruben. We hit 85 a few weeks later at Olds in my other video but the hill was still full of whoops. I would love to see what it could do with a groomed hill. It is a beast to hang on to. I tore something in my arm last time out just trying to get through the whoops. LOL
I will try to make it out on Halloween or Thanksgiving. I have seen you guys out there in the past. You have some real fast bikes and know how to get it done!

If i remember correctly, his name was Eric and he knows his stufg with banshees. ive got to replace my crank and i was wanting to go 4mil to make a 421 but ive heard since my cub cylinders were built for stock stroke, they would have to be modified in order to do so. ive tried to find a way to get in touch with him for his advice since he sold me everything for my build

2 stock banshee cases were cut and welded together to make a triple cylinder case. 2 TREX cylinders were cut and welded to make a triple cylinder. Polaris triple ignition is used. Pipes are custom.
A lot of time and work went into making this build. Lewie at Twister crankshafts did the special crank and made the cases. Eric at White Knuckle Racing did the top end and porting.

It actually isn't too bad.
It is a bad habit but I almost always ride in shorts at Glamis since it is so hot there most of the time.
Triples are a ton of fun. Tons of torque.

We duned over from Roadrunner and the bike took a tank and a half to make it there. LOL
We brought 5 gallons of alky and burned it all.

This is the right side of the hill where the fast bikes run. It is hard to tell since the hill is so beat up. Check out my other video on here where I hit 85 mph. I will have to give that part of a hill a try this next time out. It sounds like fun.

They do sell billet cases now in a 4 cylinder for the banshee.

No your on the medium part. yes like you said where the fast bikes go. but go farther right. all the way over to near the bushes where theres very few whoops. Thats the tallest part of the hill and altho it dont look like it its the steepest. I couldnt get up it on a 400EX to long to steep. I do wanna be out there this fall not sure when yet but if I see you I will stop by for sure!

Yeah man like I said I only seen 1 quad climb it and only a few sandrails. I attempted it but didnt make it. You literally have to go between some bushes to get a good run lol over where the main part of the hill ends and the sand starts to roll a bit. Sounds like we are prolly goin for halloween or thanksgiving. we only live like 3 hrs away but money is an issue right now :/

i seen this bike run halloween weekend, i was also on a drag bike but didnt get to race you cuz something had happened to your bike. Really fast though.. Good build

well i dont know where you live but i dont see 2 stroke quads on a track ever anymore. its not just a fluke its because 2 strokes in the end really dont last as long as 4s. i own a 86 completely rebuilt 250r and i would never race it. Its just something about having to fine tune jet it every ride and replace the top end every 20 hours that i dont really enjoy doing. the only reason that banshees do last is because everyone that puts money into them only drags. . =not many hours on the motor

FYI that hill is called Oldsmobile hill...not olds hill....maybe for 20 years now.
