Clyde Franklin - A Bluegrass Centered Life

I met Clyde Franklin in the summer of 1986.
He was a truly remarkable man and in many ways a soulmate. This interview was conducted early in 2019 – several weeks prior to his passing. There are many topics. Client is talking about here, but mostly banjo and Scruggs related topics. For all of you who knew Clyde this will be like another revisit with him…  for the rest of you it’s never too late to get to no Clyde, even if his been gone for several years now.
He ran the Bluegrass center music store on Hendersonville Road in Asheville, which became my base of operations and home until the fall of 1989.
