PC24 has a stand-up cabin with a flat floor. Big difference ‼️

I am a Phenom 300E pilot and it has pros/cons like as many other plane while compared each other. Both aircrafts don’t have TR but I bet PC24 has shorten Req Fld Lenght for landings/take-off (rejected) than Phenom 300 needs due the fact of dual-wheeled landing gear. PC24 cargo door? Well, it makes him more versatile - e.g.: Air ambulance; Unpaved Surface Oper: Fantastic + even more versatile, as long as you don't try this feature on places were raining becomes an issue... (well, I didn't see PC24 POH but I thing to be least probable to operate it on unpaved airfields with...mud! But, still, a differential! Phenom 300 vacuum toillete: perfect! G3000 Avionics: makes him a ready-to-go plane rapidly; Maintenance: I supposed that Phenom has an advantage (here in Brazil) than Pilatus doesn't have (yet). As the fleet increases, more maintenance shops will open thus offering to Operators choices to comparing prices, services, etc.;Piloting: both seem to have the same caracteristics - Phenom 300 has an advantage, imo, due to its winglets. Both are the best on their classes and the existence of them will make their engeneering experts to produce more and more competitve machines, making them even better and bring new ones to the market! Congrats, from Brazil! 😉🇧🇷

The soft field capability is remarkable, as is the huge cargo door on the PC24.

The PC24 is a fantastic aircraft. The only reported negative I have read and tried in a static display is the Lav. The reasons for its location are understood - it’s the rear cargo door/access. But it’s a bit of a grind to have to ‘convert’ the front part of the aircraft to a lav ‘area’. Also so close to the refreshment area.

Pilatus uses Honeywell Primus Epic avionics - similar to what Gulfstream G Series business jets are equipped with.

Nuff said. 😎

Regarding the bitching & moaning about the lavatory: how often do passengers need to use it in flight on typical trips in jets of this range - like really?

Also, in a pressurized cabin, does the smell go away just cos the lav is aft?

Or you rather not have it like some other planes?

The cargo door, being able to land on unimproved runways, lower landing speed (so critical in high altitude airports with elevated risk of high DA), flat cabin floor for a jet in this class, externally serviced lav, QPM on an idle engine to serve as an APU, etc have already made the PC-24 an outstanding jet in it class that eclipses others.

All that PLUS the assurance & reputation of quality Swiss 🇨🇭 Engineering.

If the upcoming Hondajet 2600 equipped with gravel kit package, this would give a tough competition on Light Jet

Thanks Fab for this video. Very well explained with neutral views. No doubt that before purchasing, it's always better to speak with aviation consultant but such videos atleast clears basic pros & cons. If possible, please add cabin noise factor also in comparo as many realize it later & end up spending additional charges on insulation or live with it. Eg. G650ER which has high cabin noise compared to Global. Hope to see such similar videos on different segments of the jets.

Please compare the Praetor 600 with the Challenger 605/650 .

I'm a pc24 man. I can't afford one but I'm still a pc24 man. However, if you're worth 200 million what's 23 grand.

How long is the wait if you want to buy one of these airplanes new?

This is comparing apples and oranges, like a sedan to an SUV. The planes have completely different missions. The 300 is a good plane for standard transportation. The PC-24 is a good plane for specialized transportation, yet can handle standard transportation very well. It’s not a matter of which plane is better. It’s a matter of which plane is better for YOU. For me it’s the PC-24, but for someone else the 300 would be a better match. As for the head being in the middle of the PC-24, it’s not hard to figure out. Pilots and passengers get accustomed to it after the first use.

I am seriously considering the PC24 mainly for the cargo door so I can take my mountain bike. In addition I like the larger cabin and the cabin is nice and light. Seats on PC are very comfortable but I have not been on Phenom so hard to compare.

Transitioning from training in 172 g1000, to Diamond DA42 twin, g1000, to phenom 300/300e with g1000/g3000 is a no brainer. Perhaps explains netjets choice. Single pilot certified for position flights aswell.

Is the Phenom also rated for single pilot use?

I prefer the embrear phenom 300.
The pc-24 and the phenom 300 looks like each other. I think pilatus kinda copied the phenom 300 cause it whas introduced earlier then the pc-24.

PHENOM ARE MANUFACTURE IN BRASIL NOT IN USA ? IT S JUST AN OTHER CONTINENT ... Best is the Pilatus, your opnion on insisting with that pseudo military navigation system is a commercial mistake. Garmin is the way to go
