I think you missed an option: regular neoprene booties over the socks. These give you the best of both worlds. Socks on the suit (so that you don't wear out the boots), protection for the socks and they're quick to don/doff as they tend to be zip and not lace. Cheers!

I'm just waiting for my Fourth Element Argonaut Stealth. Ordered it 2mo this ago and expected delivery will be mid September 😮 Damn, water will get warm again before I get it 😂

I use socks and rock boots. The boots I use have a velcro tab at the top that i use to secure my laces with so they do not come loose.

I have flat feet and like my my footwear tight so intergrated boots do no appeal to me.

I tie my boots when I have my drysuit only half way up so i do not have any issues tying them.

Just my two cents to combat some of the issues that were mentioned.

Hello Mark, I have 2 questions.
1. When you buy an off the rack drysuit, how accurate is the attached boots/socks sizing, or what if everything fits, except for your feet? Does that mean you'd have to go the custom route (or try another manufacturer)?
2. If you chose the sock/rock shoes option, do you have to purchase fins that will fit? I can't imagine fitting rock shoes in my jet fins. Are there rock-shoe specific fins out there that are a bit wider than regular booties?

Hi Mark thanks as always I have a request #askMark. Any chance You could do video on how to clean the inside of a dry suit mine is a neoprene one of that makes a difference. Thanks in advance Mark
