Locating pins make a fretboard glue up much safer and more accurate #luthier

Did you know toothpicks have uses in guitar building? They make very handy locating pins! What would you use?

Toothpicks look a bit big.. The drilling into the Rosewood (?) fingerboard appears to be chipping.. A panel pin would be less invasive..

That's how I do it too. Just not 4 pins, only two. Then again, it doesn't hurt to do 4. You gotta pin it down or it will slide when you clamp it on.
