Great video. I raised two kids on that mountain during years of vacations and weekend trips. I've searched for photos of the old lodge but have only found a very few till watching this video. Has anyone yet put together a compressive photographic history of the various lodges such as seen in tbe 3 ring binder photos shown within your video? There was a book sold in tbe gift shop for decades that has the history but was sorely lacking in photos. Alternatively is there a state or private website where those photos can be found? Thanks for a great video and any information.

I've never understood why they don't take better care of the shorter trails around that mountain. They are very primitive and much more difficult than they should be. Other state parks are pristine and every detail is tended. It's like this is so remote it's the step child of State Parks. That said, I haven't been in years, but look forward to a stay this fall.
