I'm so glad Robin was cast instead, my father and I both loved watching this when I was a kid. He was born in 1939 and I was born in 1990 so the few things we both enjoyed doing together meant and still mean a lot to me. Especially since he passed away when I was 17 years old less than three months after a lung cancer diagnosis. Anyways this movie is hilarious and will always remind me of good times with my dad and remind me how lucky I am to have been alive during Robin Williams prime.

It’s best Martin dropped out. I love him and don’t think he would have ruined it but it definitely wouldn’t have been the same movie. And Lane is perfect in his role as well. It all worked out.
