Petroglyph Vandalism in Moab, Utah
Показать описание
Vandalism to Moab's rich archaeological sites is a growing problem. Today's native peoples and tribes feel a strong tie to these sacred ancestral sites. Petroglyphs and rock art tell stories, reveal origins and are history of those who were here before us. Birthing Rock is a particularly beautiful site that was badly vandalized earlier this year and just one example of an ongoing problem on our public lands.
Moab's archeological sites include Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, Dead Horse Point State Park and literally millions of acres of Bureau of Land Management sites.
