Gotham: Meet Cory Michael Smith

Gotham's Cory Michael Smith explains how his Gotham character, Edward Nygma, is a ticking time-bomb.

I just don't understand why no one liked him in the first place? Like, he's super intelligent, he's quirky, he's adorably dorky and he seems nice enough. I just wish they had realised all that before he ticked...

Cory is ridiculously charming. The producers did a good job casting him as a villain because the way he treats his character is so relatable. Plus, how can you hate a villain that`s as cute as that! Talk about that smile at the end of the video?! (sigh)

I've been a Batman fan my whole life, and I've always liked the idea of the Riddler, but I've just never felt that anyone has truly captured him on the screen. Corey Michael Smith has used 75 years worth of the Riddler's existence and mastered it in my opinion. Favorite character of the show, with Penguin just behind him.

He does a different voice for Nygma that cool. He sounds nothing like his character. He is really a good actor. I think he is the best Riddler by far sorry Carrey.

I love Cory Smith's genius of Edward Nygma's sad plight and downward spiral into insanity as The Riddler. His acting and role in Gotam always makes me jump up and down in front of the TV and scream with joy from the creepiness and brilliant acting.

I didn't realise how much deeper his voice was than Edward's, he's very cute and i loved his smile at 2:18 you can tell he's thinking "When he becomes the Riddler"

Nothing more enjoyable then getting to see Edward Nygma done right, Cory Michael Smith is such a great actor!! Hands down my favorite character of a all time even on the show

Everytime everyone brushes Edward off, I feel extremly bad. Because we all know how he turned into the Riddler and seeing that development and the way even GORDON does not realize the importance of Edward is sad.
