The giveaway is now over. Thanks to everyone who has been commenting. It has been quite overwhelming so apologies if I took longer than usual to respond. I have been building and filming as I travel again next week for shows.

Congratulations JC on reaching 3, 000 subscribers. I particularly like the humour you put in to your presentations, and also the fact that your videos are just about the right length (neither too long nor too short).

3k already!!! Wow! Think I found your channel when you were in the first few hundred when you were on sabbatical from your channel. That seems like last week!
I love how imaginative your MOCs are and how much imagination and effort you put into telling the story of the MOC. As well as how you go through your thought process on the design. I'd really like to see more of your City work tbh.
Keep up the good work!

Congrats on 3000 subscribers😁. What I love about your channel is the creativity in your mocs and the amazing stories that go along with your mocs. I also that you get straight to the point in your videos and that you don't spend long for an intro to your videos like a lot of YouTubers do. I don't know what you could improve on because I love your channel how it is.

‘Mighty oaks from little acorns grow’. Your engagement with your viewers really does you credit, your thoughtful responses to comments and shout-outs are really appreciated and it will be a shame when you get too popular for that to be practical. It’s a shame you don’t have space for most of the MOCs to find a context in your city. Keep up the good work.

“All I wanted was a dog...” Congrats on the milestone! I enjoy the dry sense of humour in your videos, and also like the 16x model size you are working to; Refreshing for those with less bricks. I do find your videos a little slow, and so watch a number of them on 1.5x speed. All the best for 4K!

Steady bro, you definitely hit that 30k mark in no time. Being one of the few lego youtubers from Singapore you definitely stand out with both your quality tutorials and straight to the point!!! In particular i like those topics on growing the lego channel, its a very nice blue print for up and coming lego youtubers. The best one for me was the one creativity, dividing the number :D Huat ah!!

Congratulations on hitting 3k JC, what a milestone. This is one of my all time favourite AFOL channels as it has given me the drive to start my own small brick city and realize that I have the space to build one. You provide such a some tutorials, Mocs and advice. I also love that your book is focused on design theory and what elements make a great city. Regardless of who you draw, we are all way ahead in lucky to have you as a resource. Thanks JC.

Hey JC congratulations on reaching such an incredible milestone. 3000 Subscribers is a neat achievement and should prove to you that your channel has the kind of content and appeal that reaches out to all abilities and to all ages.

I think many subscribers come here because of the insane ideas you conjure up and, hey presto, they magically appear as wonderful MOCs!

Your presentation style is very polished. But, echoing Brick Bakery, I’d welcome more in-camera presentations. Not that I do that on my channel. I have the ideal face for radio!

My only criticism is the lack of white doves and puffs of smoke in your uploads. I’m sure they would add greatly to the enjoyment!

Thanks for allowing us to join you on your Lego journey. It’s always fun and always fascinating to see your latest wizard ideas!

Congratulations JC. I am new this year to Lego and found your channel because I wanted a ninjago city docks (a present for my 4 yr old ninjago fan) review and you were one of the first. I was so impressed to see you combining it with ninjago city. You bring a sense of humour that is perfectly in tune with Lego from the films I have seen (daily on repeat for months in end). I am a designer (textiles) myself so find your moc designs fascinating and enjoyed your creative approach video. I’m honestly surprised you don’t have more subscribers. As for suggestions, I watched a fab documentary about Lego and how they tried out loads of new ideas then had to return to basics as that is what they did best. Do you JC and make sure you enjoy what you are doing. Thanks for all the videos :)

Congratulations on reaching 3, 000 subs - it's so great and well deserved!

One think I really like about you channel are the stories - I loved the taco stand build way back because it it such an evolved story. So, yeah, stories - I like those! More of that please :-)

If I have to suggest an improvement!? When you make these face-shots (like in this video) I think it would add to the sense of feeling connected to you as a presenter, if the camera was at little more in eye-level. Right now, it seems that the camera is maybe sitting on top of a screen which puts the camera 2-3 cm above you and you are speaking up to us. News hosts are usually filmed at eye-level or a bit from a frogs perspective because it adds trustwothyness and intimacy. It's a VERY small thing, but I've thought about it a couuple of times :-)

Congratulations again - it's well deserved :-)

The best thing about this channel is that all the videos focus on custom builds, with instructions on how to make things. All in all you have a good design sense. The best thing you could do would be to put all your mocs together into a large town layout, with some larger buildings.

First, congratulations on 3K. :-)
B: I really like your mocs, but I like the smaller, furniture type mocs the best. It has helped me to design my own work desk for instance. :-)
Oh, I really like your food cart mocs too. :-) (Food stands as well) :-)
