They started out the Nafta talks preaching to the US that gender equality, climate change, indigenous peoples rights must be included in the Nafta agreements. What does any of those social issues have to do with Nafta? Do you honestly think Trump wants to talk about that nonsense?

I remember at the very beginning when Trump was against Mexcico and nothing was said of Canada. There were talks of maybe a duo partnership with us. Trudeau kept quiet about it, not supporting Mexico at all. I thought it was a cheap move. Well ... it has just backfired.

Trudeau made it clear, early in his reign, that he didn't think much of NAFTA. He was going to get us some other trade deals, and off to the TPP he went. Well, he went until the last day when he played hooky without calling in sick, and making his empty seat at the table become a viral pic. But what the heck, we should not have expected anything more.

Now he thinks he can continue to play on the NAFTA deal, and wants us to believe that he is doing the best he can for Canada.
