Deliver Us The Moon Next-Gen Review - The Final Verdict

It’s a good thing that Deliver Us the Moon’s current-gen versions are a free upgrade for anyone who owns the game on PS4 or Xbox One, because I’m not sure that it’s worth the $25 it costs at launch.

That’s not just because it’s a pretty brief game at 4-5 hours in length- those are actually pretty solid 4-5 hours, and I’m not calling the inherent quality of the game itself into question. It’s a sloppy port of a solid game though, and probably not the best way to experience the game. If you are looking to dive into Deliver Us the Moon’s somber yet captivating offerings for the first time, keep that in mine.

Just finished it on ps5 and what an experience for sure. I did have small tiny bugs but nothing too major to ruin the experience. Definitely give a go if you're really into space and the moon like me. It does also bring some emotions too 😭

This game is a great palate cleanser. The type of game you play during slow gaming months or in-between big releases. For me a was a smooth and solid experience from a technical and bug standpoint. I played it on PC and had a great time with it. It'll only take you 4 hours to beat which is like a playthrough you can get done within a weekend. Id recommend. If youre into sci-fi / space-themed content give this game a shot.

FFS when will games NOT have a ton of technical problems?? I don't mind a few bugs here and there.. this generation of games is the "I'll wait a year for them to fix it and get it at a discount"

Lovely game with intriguing narrative.
None of the puzzles are really that hard but still require a bit of thinking outside the box. Amazing for some relaxing after work gaming!

As a space geek I absolutely loved the realism of about everything of the game, it‘s a safe 10/10 for me!

Very short game, but I enjoyed I while it lasted. I liked the atmosphere of the game and the story was decent. The time limits with oxygen wasn't too much of a pain and if you just went for it intuitively more often than not you'd get sections done in one.

Playing on a Series X with a LG C1 with VRR and it plays perfect. Playing these new systems on a proper gaming TV really is a game changer.

Just got this for 15 dollars on Xbox One at a local Disc Replay. Enjoying it so far about 20 minutes in.

This game was best when it was “Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, in Space, with puzzles and a run button”. On that level, I absolutely adored it. The platforming sections (no, seriously), stealth sections (I’m not making this up) and occasional out-of-the-blue QTEs felt very “tacked on” and it’s a shame “Deliver Us Mars” has doubled-down on those.

Movement on 3 dimensions shouldn't be a problem for Outer Wilds veterans.

Just finished playing it on ps5 through ps plus. A great recommended experience for sure, especially as a palette cleansers from overpriced underwhelming AAA titles. I will note that I experienced no frame drops or crashes.

The ending is sad as a funeral on Sunday!! You couldn't tell me I wasn't jumping on a shuttle and heading back to Earth. The Moon and all the bullshit had different plans!

I think every time I've seen something about this game, I have mixed it up with the game "Observation" which I already played and it has made me not look into it any further than a glimpse lol.
(Observation, which was great in atmosphere, but rather uneventful and disappointing in it's ending)

Should probably play this before Deliver Us Mars as games like this definitely interest me.

Edit: Still the more I watch this video, the more I feel like "Wait, *have* I played this?"

I must have, it's all so familiar! ... My brain is very heavily mixing up Observation and this game into one and the same game I think.
