You made me laugh out loud, which startled my sleeping pooches, when you said “sunburnt bumblebee”. Actually quite apt :) I loved the three red/magenta together, they make such a bold statement. The black and white stripe was rock & roll when you put it between the strips.

I like the fabrics you chose for the apple. To me I would like to see the pieces be longer especially toward the center but I like the version that you called the sun burnt bumblebee. Your sunflowers are fantastic. I really love the fabric that you chose for the centers.

Loving it. I think maybe the white circle needed to be slightly patterned, a white on white and/or smaller. I'll try not to see it as a sunburned bumble bee 😆

Love the black and white stem. Right now the black & white serves as the center line of the leaf. Consider one stem with 2 leaves? Use quilting to put the center line in the leaves? Can’t wait to see where you go with the sunflowers.
