George Floyd's death one year ago today reignited the Black Lives Matter movement around the country. Marc Lamont Hill, a professor at Temple University, joined CBSN's Tanya Rivero to talk about the Black Lives Matter movement and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Discussing the life of a career criminal and drug addict is insane. This guy was a terrible man and shouldn't be remembered or honored in any way. The media is pushing a ridiculous agenda on us.

I cannot believe my ears. This qualifies as news???? It's not even very good propaganda. Just a bunch of stupid talking points.

Trying to piggyback on the Israeli-Palestinian (which is a misnomer) conflict is somehow relevant to BLM? (snicker)

It’s truly sad and unfortunate how a confrontation can go from bad to worse....

Why is it people involved in illegal activity would rather fight and resist when confronted by the law.
Many would still be alive today, both Police and those illegal activity offenders that wouldn’t obey at all.
It’s being responsible for our actions, not race, nationality, political affiliation or even the color of our skin.
Police, Military and First Responders keep us safe, respecting these dedicated men and women is where it must begin.

Martin Luther King Jr. said it best in his sermon: Accepting Responsibility for Your Actions. Teach you children well.

This guy called for a "Free Palestine 'from the River to the Sea.'" Which sounds like he wants all of the land from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River "free" of Israelis. That includes all of Israel, before the 1967 "occupation." Yet, he gets a platform to discuss Israel/Arab affairs. Why don't Israelis that support a free Israel from the River to the Sea get a platform? Why do they get shunned as "occupiers/settlers." Doesn't sound like the "right thing to do to me."

America can only balance equality by compensation of reparations so understanding that civil rights is not the same as equal rights and so giving reparations to other cultures for things that never happened on American soil because 500 years of free labor you can't tell me reparations shouldn't be deserved as the minimal decency is that of what a civilized country would do!
