as someone not currently living in North America, i find Notebook Therapy’s shipping reasonably fast considering that the hold up usual comes from customs office or post office of whatever country i am living in at the moment. their customer service is very helpful and has replied on time on multiple occasions and free shipping is always a plus when you don’t live in the US. so that is something to keep in mind. plus notebook therapy has a wide range of designs and cover materials and some have foiled or stained edges. i’ve had a few with some really beautiful edges.
that being said i would love to try archer and olive’s 8x8 journal.

I don't know how Notebook Therapy customer service is, but Archer and Olive have amazing customer service. I had accidentally ordered the wrong journal, and when I contacted them they were extremely responsive.
I wanted just a plain black b5 with blank pages which they located for me, immediately shipped, and then said I could keep or regift the journal I had. Keep in mind, I was the one who made the error.
So for that, I greatly appreciate them, and it makes me more keen to purchase from them.
That being said I am going to try a Notebook Therapy once I complete the book I am in. I am curious about both companies and am eager to support small businesses!

This was a really helpful comparison!
I was looking at the Archer and Olive notebooks for a long time and was certain I was going to buy one from them but when I came across the Notebook Therapy more recently, I felt confused about which to buy, because I wasn’t sure how quality compared but you cleared that all up for me.
I ended up going with the Notebook Therapy because I just enjoy the aesthetic of it a bit more.
It’s funny too because even before watching this video I was stuck between these exact two designs from each company, so this comparison was seemingly made for me lol.

Thanks for the comparison! I’ve used both and tbh I feel no difference between the two. A&O has superb customer service (can’t say for NT as I’ve never had the need to contact them) Notebook therapy is really much affordable though, considering they provide free shipping. Some notebook therapy notebooks have glided edges too, if you are looking for one in the future!

In in Hawaii, so can't get free shipping from Archer & Olive. I tried to place and order and my shipping cost was over $40 for a sale notebook and some pens.

I have seen the bookmark ribbon cause a problem upon first purchase. Once you start using it, the pages level out and you don’t even realize it’s a problem.

I watched another video of comparison of these two brands and the person said that on the archer and olive dot grids the dots did not line up perfectly but it did on notebook therapy

As far as writing in them archer and olive is superior my eraser started rolling the paper off of notebook therapy pages and I had no problem in my archer and olive and if I don't erase it leaves pencil marks even my daughter's Amazon journal is fine with the same pencil eraser I reached out to customer service no response yet but archer and olive reach out within 24 hours sometimes 1 hour and that's with me just asking questions
