My First Diamond Painting!! Baylee Jae's Diamond Painting Review

In this video I make my first ever diamond painting. Baylee Jae made diamond paintings in collaboration with Diamond Art Club. And this is my review!!

I know there's a mistake when I'm comparing the books. But it took me 3 hours to render this video and I don't have the patience to do it again :p

I'm a beginner and this channel is my journey on how to draw/ have fun with creativity.

I’ve watched countless videos on Diamond Art Club. Yours is the best. The other YouTube channels treat these paintings like collectibles. They buy them and don’t complete them. I purchased one because of Baylee Jae as well can’t wait to get this. I hope you do more of these in the future 💕

1. It's normal that you used little wax.
2. I also dont move my diamonds out from their packaging unless the plastic is very thin quality or too small to fold, then I use the small ziplocks.
3. Lightpad helps when canvas symbols are not clear or symbols looking too similar.
Well done on doing a square for your 1st painting. Rounds are easier to do if you want to try that out.

I think what happened with the price different was that since this is an American website, tax is not included in our listed prices, so tax was added after it was put into the cart. Hope this helped!

They give 5 because most of the time people have organizations for the drills so they don’t give many. And with my extra drills I like to put them all in a mason jar with a lid from all my paintings and mix them it looks pretty cool

A great review, I came a cross it in my recommended section! I am also a big Baylee Jae fan.
I also bought Bakery because it is my favorite! I still need to make it though. With the pricing, I ran into another problem since I bought an Elsa diamond painting alongside this one, customs 😱
I use the plastic bags the diamonds come in as well, I just close them with a paperclip until I don’t need that color anymore and then seal it with a piece of tape.

Diamond painting takes time depends on the canvas sizes big or small diamond paintings.
Section your canvas is the best option for diamond painting.
The Art in the original art may change a bit in the diamond painting version whether it is big or small diamond paintings.The Art of the diamond painting may change if it is hand charted or not.
It is normal to have many extra diamond drills/colored beads but it is a big problem if we dont have extra diamond drills or beads.❤🎉😊
The diamonds have round drills and square drills only no other shape.
AB drills, fairy dust drill are one of the special drills that most of the diamond painting have.
Organize your drills on storage containers may help a lot better.
Lightbox it helps too...to see clear view while doing diamond painting.

Thank you, what a great video! I have been diamond painting for about a year and your comments about some problems are sooo true🙂 Why only put 3-5 plastic bags?? Broken diamonds-arrgh! That darn plastic! The multi diamond placer tool-nope, too hard! But... I started using a light pad and omg it was a life changer!!! Put your phone on torch and place it under the canvas and just have a look, it’s amazing!! But you’re right, I am a middle aged woman!!! 😂

The diamonds do have the extra one and the ones with hole and they can’t do anything about it its normal and it’s in all brands of diamond paintings it’s annoying but it’s easy to fix love the vid💕

I feel your pain when it comes to dealing with the film. One thing I did that made a hue difference was to buy a couple of “cover minders” off of Etsy. They are magnets that hold your cover back and out of your way. You put one of the magnets under the painting and the other on top of the cover and it will stay out of your way until you are done working for the day! These minders are game changers!

The reason there are "diamonds" and "squares" is because when they are mixed together and the painting is done the light shines off the 2 differently giving the sparkle more dimension.

When the diamonds are stuck in the seal it’s really normal so is getting different color diamonds

I love diamond painting and am a fan of diamond art club, but your complaints are all valid and normal! There are so many personal preferences when it comes to diamond painting kits that it's really hard for a company to cater to all of them. It's really a matter of finding the company that caters to your preferences, and that may not be Diamond Art Club, which is a bummer when the paintings you want are only licensed by that company!
