Typical American Selfishness and greed. But all I knew as a kid was the Trix jingle, which got me the cereal. So the ad worked. Only much later did I see the subtext, "BUY MORE (for yourself)" "TALKE ALL YOU CAN GET (do not share)". Consumerism, greed, buy, buy, buy...and ....be happy.
