I have synesthesia, and someone tried to say the static was because of my synesthesia- I believed that up until I realized I had other symptoms such as migraines with auras, afterimages and floaters- also the fact that my dad confirmed that he didn't see the static when I called him asking when I first heard about VSS

I get everyone sees that which makes me think a lot of people have this but it is not debilitating for them like myself [except at night] but for some folks it can really get in the way of them living their lives.

I have VSS and when I cover my right eye I slowly see a big black circle in left eye I thought it's a retinal detachment but after dilated eye exam doctor said my retina is completely fine

I think I’ve got visual snow although mine is just like tv static but just small colored dots and when I look out a window it kinda looks like it’s in front but also behind the window
