I have a 4TB HDD (and will be getting another for X-mas) on my Xbox One X now, but you don't need a Xbox branded one or you can make your own. You just need a decent HDD, 7200 RPM if at all possible, and an external USB 3.0 HDD case. Making your own may or may not be cheaper depending on where you buy them and what the market is like at the time.

For the hard drive I completely agree. I have a Xbox One X and 25 games installed. Most are only mb's but the big games I do have are like 40 to the 60 GB's. It is a must get for the hard drive. I would recommend a 2T drive just because games are really big and need that space.

Ok. Why do we 'need' a carrying case? I understand taking it anywhere, but consoles aren't built for that! And if you really want portability, just get a Switch.

Got that case for my scorpio!! Its a nice case for 40 bucks and it was also easy to form to the x's shell. A great thing to have when i take my x back and forth from my friend's house.
