Kufstein The Pearl Of Tirol Austria 8K

The town of Kufstein can be reached quickly and comfortably from the towns of the Kitzbüheler Alpen. Kufstein is surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes in the Tyrolean lowland and in close proximity to the German border. The Kaiser Mountains and the Tyrolean Mountains are easily accessible with the Kaiserlift. The charm and allure of this city lies in many bracing contrasts. Ancient culture competes with impressive nature. The center and landmark of the town is the Kufstein Fortress, which towers above the town on a hill. Not only the fortress, but also many other historical buildings and monuments form the townscape of Kufstein.

Loved the video. My granny was a hungarian refugee in 1956. She made it to the austrian border and ended up living in kufstein. My parents were refugees too and ended up in London. We used to visit Granny in Kufstein up to the age 9 which was 1970. I wish I can remember Kufstein. I remember she lived in a tiny home where other refugees lived. I remember going to Spar getting fresh milk and kifli. Thank you for the video.
