Babyliss Pro Fx Skeleton: What's the difference?

One of the most asked questions about these trimmers, "What's the difference?", Where do I get replacement parts for it?" In this video we discuss those questions asked, or if you just can't seem to make a decision to buy either or hopefully this helps you out! Much love, Cesar.

As a barber of 5 years...you just explained perfectly what I needed to know. Thank you.

Overview:

Gold is like t outliner blade where as silver is more like the GTX blade. Gold is better for shorter hair silver better for longer hair and thicker hair. Gold tends to scratch a bit more but not to the point of pain. Gold one is quieter. Replacement blades or parts are mostly out of stock or hard to find but are compatible with both trimmers. In conclusion both trimmers are great and you can’t go wrong with either.

Why didn’t you make this damn video before I bought my Silver FXs? Nobody could answer these questions. 3 months too late. Good vid

Honestly the gold FX is sharper, gets closer to the skin and takes down bulk much better (even though I don't use them for that) but they do slightly pull on the skin at times (not enough to be a problem or irritate skin). The deeper tooth on the graphites seems like a gimmick trying to mimic the greatness of the GTX but the gold blade is also pretty deep (no where as short as the regular t Outliner blade)

Good I'm on a rez cutting thick native hair so thank u for the review because I've been on the classics 76 because of all the thick hair I do after 15 to 20 cuts a day my 76ers do fine so scared to buy cordless they just dont hold on thick hair

I heard you mention the differences between the two(2) were the short vs. long teeth for short vs longer hair. Were you Still referring to Lining/Outlining the hair, i.e. Shaping the beards, neck-lines, and around the haircut, which is what I need and have seen, as advertised?? Which one will give the Sharpest line, like in the various videos?

Very informative.
I was wondering why the Graphite Blade doesn't hit like the Gold Blade and it's definitely due to the thinness of the Blades. Im thinking of modifying the Graphite but hadn't seen too many reviews on performance after modifying (sharpening)

3:37 that’s exactly why I stopped getting groomed by my all time barber, he had recently gotten that trimmer and he would always scratch my forehead when lining me up 🆙
