I just got a James Dominic PVC and I really like the tone. I'm still learning to make clean notes on the lower octave. If I don't get the low d note just right it can sound like a teeny tiny elk bugling. 😄

Dear Stephanie,
I am a big fan of your site. Thank you very much for your tunes and parts.
In France, it is very difficult to find a tin or low whistle shop. It is even more difficult to find tablatures for this musical instrument.
I like tin whistle and I love Christmas season. Reason to mix the two for the upcoming holidays. What do you think of the song "One more sleep 'til Christmas" from the movie “The Muppets Christmas Carol”.

You are never approximate and inaccurate, I would say that these videos follow a "scientific" logic that allows any person to make the right choice. Unfortunately, there are very few videos like these on the net. Great appreciation!

Hi Stephanie, you gave an accurate review of the dixon dx102. Indeed it's like a baby, it has to be warm and dry, but once those conditions are satisfied it's easy to play and gives a warm sound.

Nice Video, I bought the Tunable Aluminum Dixon in Galway on vacation, Its got a great rich tone, for keeping it warm and responsive ive been told to keep it under my arm to get body heat and I added little bits of textured tape to the underside for thumb placement with pipers grip
