Tbh if smokes weren't banned snaking would at least have some counterplay. It's honestly ridiculous we're nearly 6 months into CW and still haven't seen a sniper used in pro play.

“snaking” is when a player abuses the crouch and prone movement mechanics to quickly bob up and down behind cover. This enables someone to shoot enemies while remaining practically invulnerable themselves (as playing a “head glitch” effectively breaks an opponent's camera) The argument can go both ways. At the games highest level you should use any advantage you can get. But, at the same time there are un spoken rules out of respect. Thanks Jake! keep it up !!

Omg, i just got what you mean with snaking. What is next, calling W A S D spamming, dodging, and complain about that ? OH NO look he DODGED, ban ban, lol. Come on dudes. Blame the developers for not getting the timings of their animations right, not the player playing the game. In Warzone for example, being able to tac sprint whilst getting hit, with no accelleration time needed. Absolute garbage. But if you add a special perk to your weapon, and only then, and only if you hit the legs, the enemy cannot do a tac sprint for several seconds, which proves they even thought about this thematic, but still didn't feel the need for that, when someone gets hit at the legs, or even in the head, as long as the shooter doesn't have this one perk on his weapon, that is not even a proper weapon attachement. It is just a check mark in a menu, taking one of the limited weapon slots. Mindboggleing .

Head glitches have always been a controversial topic alone, snaking is just a bottom feeder style of gameplay. You're at a strong enough advantage on the heady, especially as a player with real gunskill you can strafe if you need to be moving and crouch to actually use the cover youre behind, snaking to me has always been spitting in the face of the developers for leaving it in at all. It also encourages pub kids to use it, and fans using it in pubs makes the game that much harder for casual players to play the game who don't even know about the pro league. Mechanics like this at the pro level hurt the entire game and I don't think thats something they think about. If Scump was the one snaking, the entire cod meta would shift to snaking until it got banned. Honestly, don't be surprised if that's the way this all ends now that I think about it.

Just let everybody snake so there can be no excuses. It's a in game mechanic. It's not as easy as saying no drop shots.

Heres the issue. If cod developers attempt to fix snaking they will have to either fix some frame rate issues thats caused by snaking or implement a cooldown timer on crouch/prone changes. Which will affect everything including pubs down to the measly campaign or zombies. The other aspect of snaking thats annoying is non GA spots on maps that have invisible platforms or similar aspects to the spot are often used and not talked about but its just as bad as snaking.

Cellium has always been great at exploiting.
Just like with the aim assist through walls in MW.

It’s an in game mechanic, I wouldn’t get mad at the person exploiting.
I’d get mad at the people who developed the mechanic. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'm not saying slide cancelling is bad but pros complain about snaking being a broken movement mechanic that breaks cameras all while slide cancelling every 2 seconds. Maybe I'm just out of touch? Lmfao

I don't play cod so idk what I'm talking about but how csgos crouching works it stops people from crouch spamming, maybe something similar would fix this ?

If people want it to be fixed then they all need to start doing it and show how big of a problem snaking actually is, its not gonna magically go away and the teams that choose to take advantage of an in game mechanic are gonna reap the benefits
