This is day 200 of my daily SnowRunner Hard Mode Play-through.
In this episode we start in the International Paystar 5600TS at the Fuel Depot, and we begin by attaching the ramped flatbed trailer and continuing on Southward towards the Metal Beam framing site nearby. Before we get there, we turn off and detach the trailer and head carefully up the steep hill to the Brick Framing site where we load 2 x Bricks and then return back to the flatbed trailer and offload the bricks onto the roadside for now. We then head around and up to the Metal Beam framing site and load up 2 x Metal Beams onto the truck tray bed, and then carefully head back down the steep hill and over to the ramped flatbed trailer where we offload the Metal Beams onto the trailer, and then park as we are out of fuel! So we switch to the Ford F750 near the Brick Production Plant and bring it back across the river near the Farm, and then use it to refuel the Paystar 5600TS and park. We then switch back to the Paystar 5600TS and load up the 2 x Bricks onto the tray bed, attach the ramped flatbed trailer with 2 x Metal Beams and then head back to the Fuel Depot. Once at the Fuel Depot, we offload the 2 x Bricks for now, and load up 6 x Fuel Barrels onto the tray bed (3 packed into the tray bed, and another 3 put on top). We then exit the Fuel Depot and head back to the Fuel Station where we refuel (having just 5L of fuel left as we arrived), and then continue on around the water's edge, past the (now empty) Brick Framing site, and then up the hill to rejoin the main road, cross the Factories Bridge and deliver the 2 x Metal Beams and 6 x Fuel to the Paper Factory to complete Paper Factory, Section A contract. We now look to focus on Paper Factory, Section B where the initial focus will be on getting the bricks we need from the various brick framing sites around the South of the Black Badger Lake map. We start this in the White Western Star 4964 with the sideboard semi-trailer, and initially refuel from the fuel carrier trailer outside the Paper Factory, and then continue up the main road towards the Railway Bridge. We turn off before the second muddy section, and head down a side path to get down to, and across the railway tracks, heading up the other side to eventually make it around to the Brick framing site on the other side of the tracks. We load up 2 x Bricks, and return along the path back to the main road, popping out just before the Fuel Station and continuing on towards the Gateway to Grainwoods River. We go past the gateway, and turn left down the path, then up the hill to the next Brick framing site where we load a further 2 x Bricks onto the semi-trailer. We then return back to the same path, and head down the hill and cross the river, before heading up the hill on the other side to find the Sawmill, and then continuing on Northwards on our way to the third Brick framing site which is not far from the Wooden Bridge. We eventually make it to the Brick framing site by coming along a very scary rocky path, and load two more Bricks to end up with 6 x Bricks on the semi-trailer. We exit this third Brick framing site and head down to the sandy beach and across the Wooden Bridge, and then back to the main road to make it back to the Paper Factory to deliver the 6 x Bricks for the Paper Factory, Section B contract.
I am playing with the standard Snow Runner Hard Mode rules:
- You have to pay for your fuel & repairs;
- You have to pay for your vehicle deployment;
- You have to pay for your vehicle recovery;
- You have to pay every time you load cargo automatically;
- You are not able to sell your trailers and semi-trailers;
- You sell your trucks and equipment for half its price;
- Contests are restricted in the number of tries you make;
- You have to search for the facilities with the cargo that you need by yourself;
- You are not able to skip forwards in time.
On top of these, I have also added the following rules:
- No mods;
- Only solo gameplay, no co-op / multiplayer;
- Region must be 100% complete before starting the next region;
- Regions must be executed in the standard Snow Runner sequence;
- Only vehicles native to the region may be purchased/deployed in that region.
