I'm sat here watching and im absolutely gob smacked at just how well this machine is built and performs (given the testing conditions). Its amazing just how much bang for your buck your getting, and it's waterproof to 5 mtrs wow.. I'm an old explorer 2 guy and she's so heavy and I'm only getting older, I wanted the nox 800 not because think it will perform better so much but because of the weight issue.. im now tempted to hold back and see how there more serious contenders perform.. its fast becoming a very confusing world when wanting a new machine and making the right choice 🤷🏻‍♀️

The stem canlock, arm cup looks better than the Exqunox which cost £680, why can Quest build this machine for £269

Awesome and very informative video Sid on the quest q30. I've been sitting here racking my brains for the past few days trying to decide whether I wanted to go with the quest q30 or perhaps the new Garrett ace Apex because it's one of the new multi frequency machines. I think if I lived closer to the ocean I'd probably go with that one. But there's not too many beaches in Arkansas. LOL. I think my next machines going to be the quest q30 awesome insane recovery speed. Thank you for the video. And helping me to make up my mind.

Great to see Quest are continuing and it looks like a nice machine, but I do think recovery speed tests need to be done under ground with iron buried close to targets, from my own experience the results are different when you add some depth. I love the design of the Quest machines, very smart shafts and cam locks. ATB MMMD

The advert for the Quest 30+ says it has a light for low light conditions in the Joan Allen spec it dousnt. It has two back lights which it rightly states, the advert is deceiving.
