I hope Austin Butler wins best actor his performance in Elvis as the king of rock and roll himself is so fantastic. If he doesn't win or at least get nominated will be a crime...

I would not count out Jennifer Lawrence for Best Actress. The Globes LOVE her. They gave her the award four times! And even nominated her last year for Don’t Look Up. And her acting in Causeway is her second best ever.

I know it probably won’t happen but I hope that Mia goth atleast get a nomination for her performance as pearl in the movie ”pearl”. Her performance was incredible to say the least.

I hope Angela Bassett gets nominated for Best Supporting Actress! Her performance as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was absolutely outstanding! Easily the best performance in Wakanda Forever next to Letitia Wright!

Hey Susan, I’d agree with most of your choices for sure. However, I’d include Olivia DeJonge in Best Supporting Actress category as Priscilla Presley. She recently won the AACTA for the role, and I think Elvis will receive a lot of nominations in the Globes.
Great to see the Aussie mafia (Cate, Margot, Hugh, Baz) going strong in Hollywood and flying that 🇦🇺flag for us!

And it's tough contender of at least win 1 award..

Oh and I wouldn’t be surprised if Avatar 2 doesn’t get nominated in best picture drama, director and obvs the technical categories. Avatar did sweep the Globes and won best picture drama so I’d expect the sequel to as well.

Do you not include screenplay because you do not think it is a major category? I love that category because I think the script/writing is the most important part of the movie.
