Set against the secretive Vatican conclave, the story explores what happens when Cardinal Lawrence (played by Ralph Fiennes) oversees the election of a new pope and uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the Catholic Church itself.

With a stellar cast featuring Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, and Isabella Rossellini, Conclave creates a tense, atmospheric experience that captivates the audience. If you’re into intense political thrillers with grand visuals and Oscar-worthy performances, this film is for you. Conclave is sometimes reminiscent of Spotlight and 12 Angry Men, capturing the dark, closed-door power plays within the Vatican hierarchy.
