It's great how Brad has come on from an unsure youngster to a confident artisan, I look forward to seeing Jacob develop along the same lines!

I think there should be a big shout for Brad. Been with the project for many years now, doing all sort of jobs, including flight engineer on the Lancaster, working endless hour on the Mosquito and tractor driver. BTW we seem to be missing Keith.

I’ll guarantee the condition of this aircraft will be better than when it was built during war time. No rushing to meet production goals. These men want their work to be correct every time. I’ve been watching since Neville started his videos and as a retired commercial aircraft mechanic you can see their devotion to doing it right.

A great episode Neville. The rear fuselage is coming on leaps and bounds now. The inclinometer Brad was showing us is an interesting piece of kit. It's good to know the tail plane went back on quite easily. Jacob is getting around a bit isn't he? Holland a few months ago, now he's in Canada working on Vera presumably or with Vera's technical people. The NAAFI is looking absolutely huge compared to what it was before, and will be a pleasant place to visit next time I come up there.

Another excellent update, thanks Neville. I hope someone reminded the station cat that they need to walk across the wet floor 🤣

Can you ask one of the lads if they can demonstrate how the riveter works on some scrap metal? Surely they need to be putting pressure on the inside with that block? I’d love to see more of how it works. (I’ve only ever used one of those scissor rivet guns that pulls a pin from the back side leaving an open hole, not the kind being used on NX611)
Another great Vidoe Neville! 🕶️👍🏼

Hi Neville, sorry for a bit of pedantry, a clinometer measures incline (angular displacement). As far as I am aware, an inclinometer does not exist. 😀

I'm still confused about how many lancasters are there going to be when this is complete.
There's the French one, NX611, and the unairworthy parts from NX611.
How much is actually being replaced.
There is a spelling error in your title card.❤

The gatekeepers and rivet-counters on here loudly proclaiming their disdain for "replica" warbirds: here's a thought. How much of the original aircraft would be left if it had been constantly airworthy since 1945? Very bloody little. Stop your nitpicking until you can show us all your airworthy Lancaster.
