2025 KIA TELLURIDE Review | Still at the TOP of the Class

Come along for a our full review of the 2025 Kia Telluride. The Telluride proved a great road trip companion through snowy and cold Colorado.

Although it debuted for the 2020 model year, the 2025 still competes well in the hot three row SUV segment despite all new offerings from Chevrolet, Buick, Honda, and Mazda. And the top selling and newly updated Ford Explorer is not a guaranteed win over the Telluride.

While the Telluride drives nearly identical to the Hyundai Palisade it offers a more rugged style and a down to earth personality.

The Telluride features a 3.8 liter direct injected V6 making 292 horsepower and 262 lb-feet of torque. It all flows through an optional all wheel drive system and an 8-speed torque converter transmission.

Pricing starts at just under 39 thousand US dollars. The SX trim reviewed here came in at just around 50 thousand US dollars.

Correction: The trim level is incorrectly identified as the SX in the video. The trim level is actually the S trim. The SX would have had the surround view camera. The Telluride is due for a 2026 refresh, but given the success of the current gen, which debuted in 2020, we doubt Kia will mess too much with success. What’s your favorite mainstream 3 row SUV? It seems to me that you are in an S or EX as the surround camera system is standard in an SX.

You dont fix or change companies have tried that and failed....I am on my 3rd one. Started with the more basic S model...then went to a SX FWD. Then couldnt pass up a brand new 24 SX X Pro after a huge discount because its 2025. Unheard of $7500 off MSRP. I really like the SX X-Pro trim level with the 18 inch rims and all terrain tires. Really still a smooth ride with the all terrain tires. The Terracotta leather on black is really sharp. I did not get the Prestige for more money ans the refular leather is just fine. Locking rear diff and extra towing on the X Pro is worth it to me.Also no biggie but your in the EX model not an SX. I can tell by the rims and the more basic digital dash.
