Jelly Roll has always been one thing in his lyrics - honest. He sees his music
as therapeutic, not just for him, but for anyone who comes in contact with it.

As genuine a modern day outlaw as you can get, Jelly's music incorporates
influences ranging from Southern Rock to Dirty South rap. With his forthcoming album,
A Beautiful Disaster, Jelly Roll draws you in with his ability to tell a story that you
didn't even know you were a part of. With songs like "Creature", "I Need You",
"Nothing Left At All" and the dark, haunting love story "Suicide" along with features
from the likes of Tech N9ne, Struggle Jennings, Krizz Kaliko and Lil Wyte,
A Beautiful Disaster gives you a direct link to the life of Jelly Roll - the trials and tribulations,
along with the celebrations and victories.

I hope this song helps somebody out there today… This song was written for all of those who have had to embrace the monsters in under their beds and the demons outside their windows. This is for those who have struggled in life and had to overcome sometimes sadly by having to accept. This for those that dare to be different

The pastor once preached a sermon in church where he said that _”a struggling marriage is less about fighting with your spouse, and more about fighting with the desires inside yourself”_

My addiction was the monster under my bed. My depression was my dragon. I was running so hard for so many years. Almost 16 years ago... I found my peace. I was able to put that monster to bed and I have been in recovery since 8/13/2008. I still struggle with my mental health every day but I work with my peers and help them get to a better place if they are willing and able. I use your music in my group sessions to help others see that we are not alone in this. Thank you for being the voice of the broken.

“There’s not a monster out there in the world that’s scarier than the one within.” That’s some real truth right there! When I was a kid I was scared of the dark until one day the dark became my only friend.

All his songs just hit different. I'm glad he got with Tech N9ne, too. It's great.

15 years of heavy addiction, I played this song nonstop for about a month and got the courage to stop. I have now been sober for 2.5 years. Jelly Roll your music is incredible.

“I hope this song helps somebody out there today”...Jelly Roll, my man, ever since I deployed over seas in 2013 I’ve had to fight these demons inside me. 6 years of highs and lows, mainly lows, this has inspired me to embrace it instead of fighting it. I’m glad I ran into your music about a year ago. I only wish my fallen brothers could here this...cheers mate

Recently discovered Jelly Roll when I drove an old friend halfway across the country to stay with me for a bit to get his head right and save his life. We listened to Jelly Roll about 14 hours straight and never considered a change, he recently left here with a new life in his eyes and I am still listening to the music he introduced me to and loving it.

God Bless you and keep on keeping on Sir!

This song was my life before I finally got clean. I always ran to the bad and ran from the good. I lost numerous years of my life even in recovery because of childhood trauma and the pain I caused myself. I tried to kill the pain with anything that would stop it. You name it. The only way is through it. I'm not healed completely but working on it. Prayers to my family and friends who are still suffering also. I pray one day all addicts and alcoholics can find freedom we all crave. ❤
