For me, this actually is very sad story because they both loved each other but Saiko turned a psychopath. This scene in 9:30 always brokes my heart. She just realised that she hurted her lover while she gave him the key to the exit. The protag felt bad for her and wanted back to normal, when they were just in pure love.

After coming off of alien isolation and how smart the AI was there it makes me appreciate just how intricate and time consuming it must be to make one so intelligent. Saiko herself seems like a truly tragic character too. Feel kind of sorry for her even though she’s a genuine psychopath.

They really did a good job with this game, the different behaviors and actions the antagonist character has is smart
