The reason the Falcon wasn't released is that it fosters community and social play. And that's just not what Halo Infinite is about.

This is definitely the first time 343 has actually did a faithful recreation of the Mark VI gen 1.

Also, thanks for acknowledging the design is a hybrid of the Halo 2 and 3 designs! I was one of the ones trying to make sure people realized it when looking at the model.

Man... I don't know how Halo could sink any lower... aside from being abandoned completely. It never fails to just blow my mind how poorly 343 has handled the franchise. From Infinites flop to MCC being in shambles. It's just sad man. And to think MCC isn't even as good as the original versions of each game, let alone the cheating. At least the community continues to breathe fresh life into the series with this H2 20th anniversary event and forge content. Just wish it was enough to truly save Halo /:
