Don't overthink it, or over watch YouTube. South Korea is extremely safe and well-organized. I've traveled there all over the country, on a bicycle and in the countryside, three times knowing no Korean language and alone. Go.

I am 60 years old, and will only be in Dongtan for a couple of days in January (I doubt I'll make it to Seoul) but it is the first time I will be traveling to a country that doesn't share my alphabet, so I admit that I've been intimidated. Planning go solo to Seoul in June/2024, I have phone of T-Mobil, it says T-Mobile cover the Wi-fi in Korea, Q: I can download the Naver maps and I don't have to buy the Wi-fi sim card in Korea, then I can use the maps in Seoul, right? Thanks
