XLR to MP13 to pedals to amp? Anything else needed? DI? Mixer? Different routing?

How are you running your mic xlr? You using an adaptor for the mini xlr?

If I don’t have a special instrument-level preamp like that between the mic and the effects pedals, would I need a DI box instead? (Mic —> mixer —> aux send —> DI box —> pedals —> re-amp —> mixer aux return)?

I have the same mic as you on tenor sax. Going into Voco Loco preamp. Having serious feedback problems on any envelope filter I try. Any recommendations or advice to avoid this feedback?

Hi Jonah, I have the same mic with a TA4F output. I dont know if thats the same as mini xlr, but I had a special cable adapter made to convert it to XLR. Do you think that will work with the Rolls phantom? Thanks, Im still learning.
