A lot of stuff was left out here. Make sure to do your own due diligence. Power consumption becomes a problem for bigger rigs that run on a single circuit. Running 6 3090's on the same 20A circuit would be pushing your 80 percent safety limit, and that's without anything else running on the circuit. Make sure you have the proper electrical infrastructure before you start plugging stuff in. Also overclocking wasn't really touched on and that alone could increase your MH by 10 percent per card. You would just need to find out each cards overclock limit before it crashes.

With the prices of gpu going crazy, just holding the gpu’s is an investment in itself 😭

just going to point out that the reason your rigs are crashing most likely is because you have your core clock or memory clock set too high or voltage on either set too low or temperature getting too high, your rig shouldn't crash at all, even after 7 days of mining, if your overclock is stable. Usually you want to reduce your core/memory clock or increase your voltage if your system crashes and see if it stops crashing after changing it. The risk to not making it stable is that eventually one of your cards might eventually get bricked because of it or reduce it's life span because your gpu temp will fluctuate a lot causing internal metal components of the card to expand and contrast constantly.

I think you should come back here in 9 months and make sure you update your math on this to include your electric cost and some of the other things that are going to happen on your adventure.

Its not gonna be worthless, other coins will still be minable after ETH 2.0, it's just that their profitability won't be guaranteed.

Also, you can always resell the GPUs

Would be cool to see you do an update on your mining plan now that the merge has happened!

Bia, if your computer keeps crashing, buy some display adapters for the 3090s because it will emulate a display, causing them to shut down way less often. They are also only a few bucks each. Worth a shot. Worked for me.

Nice review but the electric cost was missed out in the discussion which is one of the driving factor of the profitability which will also conclude the ROI.
