Washington had a game plan going into Philly and executed it perfectly. Run the ball to open the pass and keep Phillys offense off the field. Time of possession for Washington was huge

Chris was right at the end. If you watched the front 4, Hurts was contained inside the pocket and rarely used his feet to make plays. Even out of the pocket, he was running for his life.

Washington made Philly play Washington's game. Heinicke can't go throw for throw with Jalen, instead used the run game to advantage, gains lots yards, drains the clock and keeps Hurts on the bench. In Hurts' turn, he's cold off the bench and tries to force quick throws which led to incompletions and 3&outs. More time and ball possession for Washington. Led to them winning.

Commanders did this to Vikings last week too. We stifled their offense for 3+ quarters. Pressured Cousins. They then got 1 field goal on questionable defensive penalty calls. Then Heinicke gave the game away giving them the ball in the RZ on an INT. Game over.

Washington came into Monday Night confident that they could slow down Eagles offense. The Commanders OLine was missing 3 due to injury and then they couldn't protect Wentz. Sacked 9 times. This time With Heinicke and them guys coming back healthy it was a different matchup and a different effort from The Commanders!
