Hi, thanks Bill, the early Victor scrolls of him are hard to find, this was one of the ones I got in the Maine store I told you about for a buck, you never see these of him for a dollar or any price really. I have some later box sets of him from the 40's to or albums they are called

I have some Cugat 78's, but I never heard of the Cigarette Rumba, great tune, really has that South American sound.

i love lecouna cuban boys..early 1930's sound..cugat is good too but much too much instrumentals for me..who else can you recommend that has the sweet 30's cuban (south american) sound - minus prado and azpiazu..ive played all these characters to death..looking for any other bands i may have missed...i just cant get enough of that 30's south american - especially cuban casino bands..i'm hoping there must have been more than 4-5 bands from the 30's era.
