The real people on cover is such a bummer, like i absolutely hate real people on the cover page, it kinda kills my imagination power and skill and then in my head, the image of the people on the cover will be connected to that of the character and i HATE THAT!!! i love imagining the characters in my head in my own way. I want to read Ritual for so long but the man on the coverpage is just ruining it for me so I'm not able to pick that one up 😭😡

I hate the sticker thing, and the people on covers, but what makes it even worse is when they do movie or show adaptations and they put the actors on the book covers. Especially when the original covers had no people whatsoever. Like plz for the love of everything holy leave the actors in the films and not on the book covers. It literally boils my blood.

oooo AND don’t forget book sleeves because they just get fraed and ruined AND book covers that are shorter than the actual book because these just rip and tear AND stains on book from like foods and stuff ( I don’t mind annotations as long as it’s not ALL over the page and like in EVERY margin)

You forgot one. WHEN THE PRINTING IS SO WONKY. ONE PAGE COULD BE COMPLETELY FINE, THE NEXT COULD BE FADED, THE PAGE AFTER COULD BE BOLD 🤬🔥. Also idk if it’s just me but I recently got Percy Jackson and the Olympians and some of the printing is smudged 😭 I mean it’s not smudged enough where I can’t read the words but it is still smudged.
