And as we know, that the material is not for trading or other economic purposes but it is a symbol of the glory of a nation or the noble value of local wisdom.

It's called as a tombak. The keris is the blade. And yes old keris is said to be mystical due to the way it being maintained. There are specific rituals to maintaining and keeping it.
