Just helped my 8 year old granddaughter build her first, a SFF NR200P. We watched videos and Pauls channel in preparation and i walked her through the steps but she did the lion's share of the assembly. I Had been buying the parts in August and September when i would see a good price on a part. Got a Radeon 6600XT for $309 in September. I bought an i5 11600k for $160. i looked at 12th gen intel and also Ryzen and while i could have gotten an i5 at a reasonable price, the DDR5 prices outrageous and the mini ITX boards as well which would have broke the budget. Ryzen was just too expensive. For budget to mid range i agree, build now. And yes my 8 year old granddaughter got a POST first try!

I've come at the right time to build a decent gaming PC at a time which GPU prices have fallen so much. I've built a computer to my liking. Didn't go full overboard with the flashiest parts.

All I built was a modest computer that's got:
Ryzen 5 5600
RX 6600
32gb RAM
2tb of SSD m.2
700watt PSU
90hrz Monitor at 1080p

I'm actually so happy and content with my build!

Holy shit prices in the US are insane. That first 750 dollar build would be over a thousand where I live, east europe.
The 2nd, 1360 dollar build would be 1850 dollars here.

I don't know why YouTube seems to hate you but I am subscribed, I have notifications on, I watch your videos usually within a few hours of publish, I like most of them if I remember, and yet your videos NEVER seem to end up in my normal feed.

Shops clearing inventory gave me a nice last hurrah moment for my X470 board by buying a 5800x for a mere 250 euro, it comes with uncharted to and is a great upgrade to the 3700x! There isnt a need to be on the newest platform when the performance of zen 3 is still so incredible right now.

What is REALLY crazy is that in my country cost of 4080 is the cost of: newest I7, Z690 motherboard, 32GB RAM (DDR4), 1Tb SSD, BeQuiet Case, and 1000W Corsair power supply. Combine. COMBINE!!! And I still have money to pay, for a mouse, a keyboard, and a beer...

How on earth this sick company can convince me, a client, that this is anywhere near to real price of 4080???

Surprised no one that I have seen anyway is talking about the 5800x it can be had for under 250 bucks right now new the most bang for the buck in the cpu category right now in my opinion stellar all round performance for that price point

I have a 12600KF and use the ID-Cooling SE-226-XT. I ran a cinebench test for 30 minutes at stock clock and voltage and temps never got above 65c. This was in a Corsair 4000X RGB with the 3 stock front fans and a be quiet pure wings 2 exhaust fan at max speed. Amazing air cooler for about 45 usd
