The Fira to Oia hike along the Santorini Greece caldera may be the world's most incredible hike, doable for most ages and abilities.

The Fira-Oia Hike is probably the single best thing to do in Santorini – with a Santorini boat tour being a close second. The hike takes you along the caldera cliff and through the villages of Fira, Firostefani, Imerovigli, and Oia. The hike takes between 2 and 5 hours depending on how fast you walk and how often you stop, and can include a short detour to Skaros Rock. The hiking trail from Fira to Oia is just under 10.5km (6.5 miles). Part of the path is similar to a sidewalk, parts are cobblestone, and parts are a dirt path. There is a good climb in both directions. Bring water and sun protection.

Oh my gosh I actually did this hike just last week and it was such an exhausting one! I also took the detour to Skaros Rock and the view was amazing. The only problem was during November, none of the restaurants mentioned were open. Not even the snack bar on the side of the street! I hiked for 5 hours without water!
