-----------------------------------------------------------
✅ 【Detail】
The EFI system partition, also called ESP, is a small partition formatted with FAT32. If you accidentally deleted the partition, then your system will be unbootable. So you have to create a new one.
1. Boot your computer from a Windows installation disc or recovery disk. Press Shift+F10 during the setup to enter the command prompt.
2. Run the commands in the video to shrink the partition to free up some unallocated space.
3. Then you can create an EFI partition out of the 500MB unallocated space using the command in the video.

If you have an external hard drive rather than an internal one, you do not require an EFI partition to boot from the drive, you may want to delete the original EFI partition.
1. Run AOMEI Partition Assistant.
2. Connect either a USB drive or CD to your computer and click Make Bootable Media. Follow the wizard to create a bootable disk. Then boot the computer from the bootable device.
3. In the main window, right-click on the EFI partition that needs to get rid of and select Delete Partition.
4. In the pop-out window, click “OK” to confirm.
5. Then click Apply to save the changes.

No need for any software to delete EFI partition. CMD is enough for it.
1. First run CMD as administrator
2. Then type "dickpart"
3. Then type "list disk"to list all the storage devices connected to your system
4. Now select a disk by typing "select disk x" where the EFI partition is situated. (here x is the disk number, replce x with put the number of disk you want to select)
5. Now type "list partition" to list all the partition of the selected disc you selected before
6. Now type "select partition x" for to select the EFI partition(hair X is the partition number and check disc management to find the EFI partition number, replace x with it)
7. Now type "delete partition override" to finally delete the EFI partition
8. Then "exit" to exit cmd

Pro tip: You may benefit by watching at 1.25x or 1.50x playback speed digest all this great information faster. I like watching with closed captioning, a.k.a. subtitles, enabled that way I don't miss anything. The auto-generated subtitles aren't always 100% correct prone to errors and will often misinterpret the narator; it's still very helpful most of the time when used to understand a certain word or words due to the narators dialect.

You left out of the video some very important steps to make the EFI partition you just crated, usable (BIOS will recognize as boot option). Before exiting diskpart you have to assign a letter to the EFI partition with the command assign letter=s Then you can exit diskpart. After that, type the command bcdboot C:\windows /s S: Done, now your EFI is usable.

The diskpart command 'del part override' allows you to delete EFI System Partitions.

Also, I noticed another problem - in trying to format my partition, I got the error: 'Diskpart has encountered an error. The parameter is incorrect.' The solution to that was to shut down anything that could have a handle on the disk - in my case Windows Disk Management & Partition Wizard. If you're still getting that error, you could try diskpart from the Windows Recovery Environment or boot disk.

I wanted to make the EFI System Partition the first partition on a GPT disk, and set it to 260MB in size, then make the second partition a 128MB MSR Partition. When I cleaned the disk and convert it to GPT, diskpart creates a 16MB MSR partition, and everything else goes after it. So I had to delete the 16MB MSR partition first.

is it needed to shrink a partition? I am somewhat scared of doing so, so I don't know if I can skip that step

Long time ago I lost all my life and family pictures and videos and memories because of using the AOMEI partition manager. It didnt do well a very simple resize and move operation in a partition and completely made all of my disk destroyed by transfering wrong data, wrong blocks, and incorrectly partitioning. I wouldnt recommend ever use an AOMEI product.
