Being single is wonderful.  I don't ever have worry about the one who 'loves' me deciding to ruin my life and taking all my money.  No kids, no custody battles, no pre-nups, no divorce settlements, no spending my life with someone telling me how to live.  No way is starting a family worth any of that risk, my genes can die with me rather than being stuck in such a relationship.  Simply no interest, work and the rest of my life have my top attention.  I would rather be happy, and being with anyone would dampen my joy.  Forget wasting my life on that crap!

Why do people nowadays think that if you never get a girlfriend or have sex your life will suck? There is so much more to life than girls. I'm 17 and have been single my whole life and I'm happy as hell to be honest, from what I've seen growing up, relationships just eventually end up in heart break and depression, you're better off staying single in my opinion. All I need is my friends, family, and I'm happy, simple as that.

Hmmm ok. No BS here.... I've been single almost all my life. Sure there are times where I think it would be nice to be in a relationship... BUT... I don't like crowds, I don't like "entertaining guests" I don't drink, party or have friends, I'm a loner and enjoy the quiet life playing video games and fixing my arcade machines. Fact is that most women have to be around groups to feel happy and secure. As a man, I choose to walk alone and the company of my own mind and activities makes me happy. So... at times do I miss the idea of being in a relationship... sure... but at the end of the day I know my lifestyle does not mix with the mindset of what the majority of women seek in a man so I choose to avoid the drama and stay single.

Here is my life advice to everyone, males and females
1. staying single is the best, you don't need a to be happy. Just because lots of other people do it doesn't mean you have to do it!
2. if you feel like you are falling in love with someone; avoid them and forget about them. Because you will either find out they are taken and will be heartbroken; or you might be together and be all happy but the relationship will not last forever. 50% of couples divorce. And when the relationship ends you will be broken; you might even get sick.
3. If anyone asks you out, deny them all but in a nice way. Don't just say "No" and leave; say something like "sorry I don't feel like i am ready for a relationship" or if you want to get rid of them easier, you can lie by saying "sorry i already have a

You know, not everyone is meant for a relationship and marriage. Some people are and some people aren't. It is just like a job, some people can handle it and some people can't. Loneliness is what your you make of it, its actually your mind telling you that you are. Actually it is very very profitable to stay single these days, your productive level increases, having more time on your hands to do work and the things you want in life. I am a single male and I am really sad an d depressed. I have no women that I can invite to expensive restaurants. I have to spend all my money myself. This is so frustrating. No woman around who asks me to do her favors. What purpose does my live have? Instead I spend my time riding my motorcycle....alone!
